The bill is one number.
The customer sees a higher total, recent usage may still be catching up, and possible causes are mixed together.
One object opens one customer world. The live agent appears when the real wait begins.
A higher bill should become understandable before it becomes a plan choice.
assembl designs and runs agentic customer journeys.
assembling is the wait-state layer: it turns a natural waiting moment into useful, permissioned, rewarded work that improves the customer’s next step, while a named human stays in control.
This is a worked Contact journey with no connection to a real account. I can separate the bill reading, explain what may have changed, shape an optional household-energy check, or prepare a care-first handoff. I cannot switch a plan, issue a credit or agree payment support.
Published meter evidence becomes material; proposed household actions remain drawn until the customer approves them.
The customer sees a higher total, recent usage may still be catching up, and possible causes are mixed together.
assembling shows the read, period, fixed charge, usage and freshness; then offers one useful household question or a direct support route.
The customer keeps a source-linked explanation and chooses whether a Household Energy Brief reaches the accountable Contact team.
CURRENT CUSTOMER MOMENT
Aroha has opened a higher-than-usual power bill. The bill may contain an actual or estimated reading, while the latest meter data can still be a few days behind in the usage graph.assembl SCOPE
ACTIVE BILL-TO-SUPPORT JOURNEYContact says meter data can take a few days to appear in the usage graph. While the graph catches up, the customer can prepare one household detail and review the assumptions before anything is shared.
No customer context has been used.
Bill period, daily charge, energy usage and actual-or-estimated meter status separate into visible evidence. Source and freshness stay attached; the latest usage is never implied to be live when it is not.
The journey distinguishes energy used from fixed charges, a longer billing period, an estimate or later correction. It asks one useful household question at a time and marks uncertainty instead of inventing a cause.
Aroha can map hot water, laundry, dishwasher, heating or EV routines against the current plan and explore published options such as Good Nights. No switch is recommended or made; the comparison is saved for human review.
After an optional home-energy readiness check, Aroha may choose a proposed Contact-funded bill credit or community contribution. The worked reward is illustrative, its value remains undecided, it can be declined and it never depends on changing plan or spending more.
A request for payment help stops reward and plan content. The brief prepares the situation for Contact’s Customer Wellbeing team, while a real person retains every support arrangement and sensitive conversation.
A proposed customer room that carries the source, household permission, useful work, human owner and proof across bills, meters, plans, moving, outages and care.
While the newest usage catches up, the room separates the bill period, daily charge, energy used and actual-or-estimated read—without inventing the reason for a higher total.
PUBLISHED CONTACT POSITIONContact says meter data can take a few days to appear in the usage graph. How to view usage ↗The agent is live. It works only from the published Contact context and information supplied in the conversation. Missing account or household evidence remains visible.
After an optional home-energy readiness check, the customer chooses where illustrative value goes. The selection never affects support, plan eligibility or the agent’s explanation.

What was used, changed and approved
The customer chooses whether the worked journey may use the simulated bill, plan and household answers, and separately chooses whether anything may be saved for a Contact specialist.
Before a support arrangement, plan change or credit is made. The accountable Contact team makes and records the consequential decision.
Line means proposed. Material means done. The customer should see the difference before reading it.
The bill is available. The newest meter data may still take a few days to appear.
The reading, period, fixed charge, usage and freshness separate into evidence.
They may shape a household check, decline the proposed value route, or go straight to support.
Only the approved brief moves forward. A Contact role owns every consequential decision.
The first Contact conversation begins from a retained reading, freshness check and explanation instead of asking the customer to reconstruct the bill. Measure against Contact’s current repeat-contact baseline. This is a hypothesis to test, not a promised number.
assembl prepares, explains and carries approved context. It does not turn preparation into an autonomous high-stakes decision.
Primary measure
Primary hypothesis · fewer avoidable repeat high-bill contacts. Secondary · earlier support identification. The larger journey is proposed only after the first wait proves utility, trust and operational fit.
Contact currently publishes bill and usage tools, actual-versus-estimated reading information, customer-submitted meter reads in its app and My Account, moving and reconnection guidance, time-of-use plans, local lines-network outage routing and Customer Wellbeing support. The Household Current room, its six connected journeys, the Household Energy Brief, agent actions, value routes and any credit or community contribution are assembl proposals, not current Contact features, real account actions or confirmed offers.
This room is isolated from every other client concept. The customer interaction is implemented here. Client data, system access, reward approval and production action remain proposed.
